How the unscrambler works
Instant Word Unscrambler takes the letters you type and checks every possible arrangement of them against a dictionary of over 370,000 English words. Behind the scenes it generates every combination of your letters — from two-letter pairs up to the full set — and keeps only the ones that are real, recognized words.
Results are grouped by length so the highest-scoring words appear first. Nothing is sent to a server: the entire lookup happens in your browser, which is why results appear in a fraction of a second even for long letter combinations.
